【往日情懷】也許不是一部很曼妙的愛情電影，甚至它整場隱約著人類不能避免的差距所帶來的巨大傷感，讓人幾乎無從，尤其它的主題曲更像是種種回憶的因子飄在空氣中，看似很輕其實很重，好在 芭芭拉史翠珊 獨有的嗓音和唱功，加上"The Way We Were"頭尾那連續幾句像斷了弦的吟唱，拉開了每個人的心靈序幕，也進入了每個人的時光隧道，整首歌就是充滿了磁吸的魔力和渲染的感動，畫面逼真，意境滿分。
