總是能營造出主導氣氛的絕妙旋律

葛倫米勒最有名的兩首曲子【In The Mood】【Moonlight Serenade】都曾登上大銀幕，甚至是後世在追憶這位超有才華的大師時慶幸還能看到他巔峰時期的稀有畫面，這部近乎失傳的電影【太陽谷小夜曲】葛倫米勒粉墨登場扮演了算不上核心的配角，但卻是看完電影後唯一記得並讓影片留下恆久價值的腳色，因為電影就是為他量身打造、為他創作的那麼多作品硬是找個理由塞進去，為了好像知道他會在二戰時殉國不能替我們再多留下美好旋律而特地拍出來的。話說【心情】不管是任何年齡任何階級任何個性的人初次聽到時都是會驚為天人立刻感受到何謂不同凡響，莫怪此曲會被選入葛萊美名人堂，並被美國國會圖書館列入收藏，它就是一首獨一無二的神曲，幾乎和葛倫米勒畫上了等號。另一首【月光小夜曲】作曲人就是葛倫米勒本人，同樣進到葛萊美名人堂，被評為史上最溫暖最有情調的樂曲，它還有演唱版，同樣聽來動人。這部電影還有一首歌我特別喜歡，而且愈聽愈有味道、愈覺得葛倫米勒真是個會把情意寫進歌裡的天才，那就是男女主角對唱的【I Know Why (And So Do You)】，雖然它只是情侶對唱，但能唱出對人間美好的感動，那種曼妙的音符充滿了渲染的魔力，又清純又復古，我超喜歡。
