榮獲1982年第54屆奧斯卡金像獎最佳原創歌曲的"The best that you can do"，作曲來自流行樂曲大師伯特巴卡拉克之手，他上一次得獎是1970年42屆奧斯卡金像獎最佳原創歌曲的【虎豹小霸王】的「小雨不斷打在我頭上」，再上一次是1968年第40屆【皇家夜總會】的「愛的樣子」獲得提名，可見得他真的一直能掌握好萊塢和大眾的時代感與動脈感，動不動就能因畫龍點睛把電影層次大幅提升而獲獎，而且往往主題曲都會變成流行曲史上的經典，甚至是因為主題曲而讓人想起電影的畫面。
