貓王只活了42歲就撒手人間，傳說是服用了過多不同藥物以致心臟衰竭，還有傳說他一直還活在某處享受著平靜，更有傳說他是外星人時間到了必須告別我們匆匆返航 ...，他留下的歌無數搖滾抒情都有不朽之作，而這首「藍色耶誕」也許不是特紅但絕對好聽，每年聖誕前夕大街小巷收音機百貨公司都會聽到，那幾乎成了每個人心中最暖最熟悉的禮物，他的歌聲囂張又溫柔，狂野又害羞，無人可取代或模仿，但人人心中自己都是貓王，都有他桀傲不遜的一面，也都有孤僻自閉的一面，確定的是他是永恆不衰的，我們寧願他是我們永遠的一部份，就連電影【停車場夜驚魂】也不忘插花一下 ......好聽★★★★
